As soon as Cane Corso puppy appears at home you are recommended breaking it to regular feeding. Special feeding technique together with regularity is to be observed. It is better to schedule the puppy’s diet. Regular meal is obligatory for the little dog. Step by step the dog will form a habit of eating according to this timetable. It needs to feed the puppy in this way: dish with food must be fixed to vertical bar and be at the level of the puppy’s chest or a little bit higher. Puppy will be able to drop its snout into the dish without bending its head too low. The dish is mounted in metal collar with proper diameter and settled with a ring or a jaw on the bar. Stand under this bar must be wide and stable enough in order the dog could not turn it over while eating. As the puppy grows the bar may be lengthened. Food bowl must be ceramic, aluminum or enameled; be without defects, depressions and pimples for prevention of cuts. As a rule, the capacity size of the dish is not big: approximately 0.5 l of liquid or 500 g of dry food fit in there.
