1.   Making a loop of it. If attaching one end of the leash to the dead O-ring you get a loop that is to be worn on your shoulder. The other snap hook should be attached to a dog. Be aware that O-ring must be in front of your shoulder but in no case behind it.
2.   Shortening its length. The O-ring stitched nearer the end is to be attached to one end of the leash. You’ll have a short leash that is ideal for different purposes.
3.   Tethering a dog when you need to leave him for short period of time. You can’t enter a shop together with your pet therefore you should keep him waiting for you outside. Wrap an object (a tree, post or something else) this leash and connect the dead ring with the handle end - now your pet is tethered. Be advised that a tethered canine is to be always under supervision.
4.    20 inch Traffic leash. Make a 3.25’ Leash and then grab the floating O-ring and slide it to the leash’s end opposite the snap hooks.
