Specialists recommend feed Cane Corso puppies 3-6 times a day
(depending of animal age), gradually making their feeding twice-a
day. Adult tracker dogs may be fed once a day-it is quire
allowable and even experienced breeders recommend that.
Norm of food consumption for puppies is appointed individually. It
is also reasonable to observe Cane Corso after its feeding.
If the dog has gibbous belly it means that the feed was too big
for it. In this case it is recommended to give the dog to drink
little milk flavored with magnesium but it needs to reduce feed
amount in the following feeding.
But if pet left its bowl empty and even licked it clean, and then
started to its rug without showing any anxiety then the amount of
food given to it will be just the norm of its feeding. It goes
without saying that as Cane Corso puppy grows and maturates
the amount of feed consumption is to be increased.
After feeding the puppy happens to be licking its bowl for long
time and go to its place too slowly looking into owner’s eyes and
all its look says about fierce desire to get another feed. However
in that case you should not be tied to the chariot of your Cane Corso
puppy otherwise it may become accustomed to sops and this will
adversely affect its further education altogether. One must draw
on that the feed was not all right and next time it is necessary
to add to the food that Cane Corso puppy eats
usually.
